Cyfrowa wypożyczalnia międzybiblioteczna Academica to innowacyjne narzędzie, które umożliwia udostępnienie w bibliotekach na terenie całego kraju ponad 2 mln publikacji naukowych zgromadzonych w zasobie cyfrowym Biblioteki Narodowej.

Głównym celem systemu Academica jest zastąpienie tradycyjnej formy wypożyczeń międzybibliotecznych wypożyczalnią publikacji w postaci cyfrowej.

Stale rozbudowywane zasoby Academiki obejmują współczesne piśmiennictwo naukowe ze wszystkich dziedzin, w tym także najnowsze wydania podręczników akademickich oraz aktualne numery fachowych czasopism specjalistycznych, jak również teksty źródłowe, literaturę piękną oraz zbiory specjalne, które są przedmiotem badań naukowców.

Academica – Digital Interlibrary Loan System

The Academica digital interlibrary loan system is an innovative tool that provides libraries across the country with access to over 2 million academic publications stored in the digital repository of the National Library of Poland (Biblioteka Narodowa). The primary goal of the Academica system is to replace the traditional form of interlibrary loans with the lending of publications in digital format. Academica’s constantly expanding resources include contemporary academic literature from all fields of study, including the latest editions of academic textbooks and current issues of specialist journals, as well as source texts, fiction, and special collections that are the subject of academic research.
