Uroczysta premiera książki odbyła się w ramach obchodów„Koneckiego Września 2024” w siedzibie głównej Biblioteki Publicznej w Końskich w Parku Miejskim w dniu 31 sierpnia (sobota) o godz. 18.00.
– Danuta Holgate – córka Ludwika Wiechuły ”Jelenia”
– Gabriela Byron – córka Bernarda Wiechuły „Marudy”
– Katheryn Taylor – wnuczka Ludwika Wiechuły
– Aiden Wiechuła wraz z rodziną – wnuk Bernarda Wiechuły (żona Anna oraz dzieci Verity i Ambrose – prawnuki Bernarda Wiechuły)
Jakub Kowalski THE SILENT UNSEEN OF „SZARY”. The Story of the Wiechuła Brothers
The official book premiere took place as part of the „Konecki September 2024” celebrations at the main branch of the Public Library in Końskie, located in the City Park, on August 31st (Saturday) at 6:00 PM.
The program of the event at the Library included:
– The opening of a photography and memorabilia exhibition related to Bernard Wiechuła, alias „Maruda”, Ludwik Wiechuła, alias „Jeleń”, and Antoni Heda, alias „Szary”.
– A presentation about the heroes of the book The Silent Unseen of „Szary”. The Story of the Wiechuła Brothers – by Jakub Kowalski.
The event and meeting with the author included a sale of the presented book, a book fair by the Library’s ARSLIBRIS Publishing House, and special exhibitions by World War II history enthusiasts. The premiere was attended by representatives of the World Association of Home Army Soldiers, local government authorities, and family members of both soldiers of the Silent Unseen:
– Danuta Holgate – daughter of Ludwik Wiechuła „Jeleń”
– Gabriela Byron – daughter of Bernard Wiechuła „Maruda”
– Katheryn Taylor – granddaughter of Ludwik Wiechuła
– Aiden Wiechuła and his family – grandson of Bernard Wiechuła (wife Anna and children Verity and Ambrose – great-grandchildren of Bernard Wiechuła)
